Surry Hills

The disused Crown Street Women's Hospital in sophisticated Surry Hills was the perfect site for TOGA to create a mixed-use development with residential, retail, commercial offices as well as an Adina Apartment Hotel. The development was awarded winner for Excellence in Planning from Royal Australian Planning Institute and the Civic Design Award in 1994 for the NSW Royal Australian Institute of Architects.

Bill Granger’s global empire has its roots in TOGA-owned and managed properties — the Surry Hills Adina Apartments (since 1996). After 22 years of satisfying the locals with their iconic scrambled eggs and ricotta hotcakes, Bills Surry Hills made a radical move… two doors down in the same building. Visit Bills and Flour Eggs Water for some fine food at the TOGA Crown Street precinct.
